Rushil’s Story
I was born and raised in Surat, a city on the western coast of India. I’m an only child, and for the first 25 years of my life, I had the privilege of enjoying a life of luxury. Thankfully, my education, from schooling to my undergraduate program, didn’t take me away from this comfortable life. I studied Medical Science, which is also known as MBBS (Bachelor in Medicine & Bachelor in Surgery), right in my hometown. I was fortunate to get the opportunity to serve my community during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. I spent two years providing medical care to people in need. After those two years of service, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and study abroad. In the fall of 2022, I got the chance to study at the well-known New York University. During this exciting journey, I came across T.E.A.L.® while looking for an internship. Luckily, I was offered a full-time internship with T.E.A.L.®. In the fall semester of 2023 I interned with the T.E.A.L.® team and had an amazing learning experience that has surpassed my expectations.
