Shaelyn Lenko was born in Flushing, NY. They attended St. John’s University and pursued a BFA in Photography with a dual degree program at the International Center of Photography. Shaelyn’s interest within healthcare stemmed from her own father’s passing from cancer, and she utilizes this passion to manifest and nurture the desire she has to make change, either through the lens of her camera or her experience with everyday community. They love to crochet, and often spend their free time hiking or in nature.
