On November 24th, 2024, Tell Every Amazing Lady®  volunteers and board members hosted Strikeout Ovarian Cancer night at Rabs Country Lanes Bowling Alley in Staten Island, NY, naming Tell Every Amazing Lady® the sole beneficiary. This was a fun event for the Staten Island community but it also educated them more about the signs, symptoms, and risk factors of ovarian cancer which raising funds for Tell Every Amazing Lady® as the sole beneficiary.

On November 16th, 2024,  Tell Every Amazing Lady® tabled at Choose Healthy Life’s event Confronting Cancer with Courage. It was hosted at the Christ Fellowship Baptist Church in Bedford-Stuyvesant in Brooklyn, NY. The event provided the opportunity to educate attendees on the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer as well as the genetic link between ovarian cancers and other cancers such as breast and colon cancer. 

Nine members of Team Tell Every Amazing Lady® ran the 26.2-mile 2024 TCS New York City Marathon on November 3rd, 2024. Staff and supporters were thrilled to cheer on our charity runners and spread ovarian cancer awareness with handheld signs and teal pom poms.

During our expo visit and bib pickup for the 2024 TCS NYC Marathon on November 2nd, one of our runners, Michelle, was featured on Marathon Running Podcast & Channel. In her interview, Michelle discusses her experience training for her first marathon and the support of Team Tell Every Amazing Lady® throughout her journey. She runs in memory of her sister in law who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Click here to listen to her story.

On November 2nd, 2024, staff met up with some of our TCS NYC Marathon runners, Team Tell Every Amazing Lady®. This event was a way to catch up with our runners, discuss last minute tips and have them pick up their bibs. All the runners were gifted branded T.E.A.L.® items including a medal for their participation, runner care supplies and more awareness materials.
