Ovarian Cancer
Awareness & Education
All of our events, activities and programs aim to provide ovarian cancer awareness and education to the community.

Community awareness campaigns
Throughout September which is National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month we organize dynamic awareness programming around New York City and other parts of the United States.

September Awareness Campaigns
Each September, T.E.A.L.® partners with local businesses and organizations to turn buildings and monuments the color teal, such as Brooklyn Borough Hall, New York City Hall, Bronx County Courthouse, The Municipal Building, The Coney Island Parachute Jump at Luna Park, and Greenwich Town Hall to spread awareness about ovarian cancer.

T.E.A.L.® Ad Campaigns
Other major activities that help spread awareness have been our MTA awareness campaigns These ads are featured on subway platforms, kiosks, and buses all over New York City.

T.E.A.L.® Ribbon Campaign
T.E.A.L.® partners with Turn the Towns Teal® to provide teal ribbons for ovarian cancer awareness initiatives in September.
Each year, we turn neighborhoods teal by partnering with local organizations, businesses, and schools. T.E.A.L.® ties a teal ribbon outside each business or home along with a window poster that explains what the ribbon symbolizes. The ribbons remain on trees for the whole month of September. Tell Every Amazing Lady® partners with Turn The Towns Teal®, which provides ribbons for this initiative.

Awareness Events: Locally and Nationally
For many years, T.E.A.L.® has been invited to open and close both the New York City Stock Exchange and the NASDAQ. These events led us to spread awareness to an estimated 2,000,000 people!
Tell Every Amazing Lady® participates in health fairs, events, and lectures all year round to promote ovarian cancer awareness and education, especially during September for National Ovarian Cancer Awareness month.
