Kay was born in Yangon, Myanmar but raised in Queens, New York for most of her life. During high school, she joined Model UN and developed an interest in diplomacy, so she pursued a Bachelor’s degree at Fordham University in International Studies with a minor in Sociology as studying people and societies was her second interest. After graduating, she spent time working at a nonprofit in Sunset Park that supported at-risk-youths and an international NGO in Manhattan that supported faculty and students in Asia. Now, she currently studies at New York University for her Master’s in Global Affairs to continue her interest in diplomacy. In her free time, she loves to go to karaoke and travel to different cities/countries.
