Tell Every Amazing Lady® started 17 years ago with a walk in Prospect, Brooklyn. This year we’re starting a new tradition. Introducing the Tell Every Amazing Lady® Brooklyn Run and Exhibition. On September 6th, 2025, we will be having a 5K Run in Prospect Park, followed by our Exhibition at Nitehawk Cinema.
The Brooklyn 5K run is in support of women’s health and the fight against ovarian cancer. Whether you’re running for the women you love, the women you’ve lost, or the women still fighting, this is about more than miles—it’s about making a difference. It’s not just a race, it’s a movement—to fund research, raise awareness, and support families impacted by ovarian cancer.
Then join us for our powerful exhibition at Nitehawk Cinema. Everyone with a ticket will have access to the Trees Lounge where you, your family or your team will have photo ops, fun activities, sponsor info, giveaways—and access to onsite genetic testing with jScreen. There will also be three special screenings for attendees to choose from during the exhibition. Live entertainment will be included in the Amazing Lady (Survivor/Patient) and Magnolia Memorial Screening.
- The Amazing Lady (Survivor/Patient) Screening will feature our signature T.E.A.L.® Survivor Ceremony indoors, highlighting the strength and spirit of ovarian cancer survivors and patients. We’ll kick-off with a short film centered on the idea that cancer is a diagnosis—not a definition. Following the screening, you’ll hear directly from two ovarian cancer survivors in a candid conversation about how to maintain a sense of self, strength, and hope through an ovarian cancer journey. We’ll close with our T.E.A.L.® Survivor Ceremony, honoring everyone in the room who has ever been diagnosed with ovarian cancer in a moving and uplifting ceremony like never before.
- The Magnolia Memorial Screening will be a heartfelt tribute to those we’ve lost to ovarian cancer—an opportunity to remember, honor, and keep their stories alive. This special program features a moving film that reflects the lasting impact of love, memory, and legacy. You can submit photos and videos of your loved one to put up on the big screen. Join us for connection and healing as we celebrate the lives that continue to inspire and ensure their voices are never forgotten.
- Love, Gilda Movie Screening Looking for a meaningful way to show your support? Join us for a special screening of Love, Gilda. The movie opens a unique window into the honest and whimsical world of beloved performer Gilda Radner, whose greatest role was sharing her story. Working with the Radner estate, director Lisa D’Apolito unearthed a collection of diaries and personal audio and videotapes documenting her childhood, her comedy career, her relationships and ultimately, her struggles with cancer. These never-before-seen-or-heard footage and journal entries form the narrative spine of the documentary, allowing Gilda to tell her own story — through laughter and sometimes tears. Following the screening, stay for a brief educational talk on ovarian cancer. Come be inspired by Gilda’s story — and help turn awareness into action.
