My name is Sarah Tiffany and I’d like to tell every amazing lady (and all others) why I am running the 2025 NY Marathon for Tell Every Amazing Lady®. I am running in honor of my former roommate and best friend’s mother, Vicki Haberman, who tragically passed away from Ovarian Cancer in 2014. Although I never got the chance to meet Vicki, her memory lives on. Through the stories my best friend and her family tell, it is evident that she was a driven, motivated supermom – kind above anything else.

I have been by her daughter’s side since 2015. She has brought me along to the annual Tell Every Amazing Lady® events. The 2023 16th Annual Brooklyn T.E.A.L.® Walk/Run event and the sea of teal-colored T-Shirts left a particularly large mark on me. It was a reminder of how far disease awareness and community building can go. Banded together, we can be louder and stronger than this disease.

Exercise is also a hobby that I share with my own mother. It allows us to spend lots of quality time together, which I constantly feel grateful for. As far as running the TCS New York City marathon: It has always been on my bucket list. I knew that when I did it, I wanted to run for a charity that held special meaning to me. I feel so fortunate for the opportunity to run with Team Tell Every Amazing Lady® this year.
