I chose to run for Team Tell Every Amazing Lady® in memory of my maternal grandmother who had ovarian cancer in the late 1980’s. Her cancer was found incidentally on diagnostic imaging and given early detection, she was able to achieve remission with surgery. She lived until 2022 when she passed away at the age of 88. Our family is so thankful for all of the time we were able to spend with her. Additionally, I am an advocate for women’s health and awareness of ovarian cancer as a nurse practitioner and new mom. I believe the exceptional work being done by Tell Every Amazing Lady® in screening, support, education, and advocacy is essential in promoting the quality of life of individuals with ovarian cancer, and I am honored to be a part of team Tell Every Amazing Lady®.
