Hi, my name is Cameron Evitts, and I’m from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I am beyond excited to run the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon with Team Tell Every Amazing Lady® this upcoming fall!

I’m running in honor of an incredible woman in my life who is like a second mother to me. She was diagnosed with ovarian cancer not long ago, and this is my way of supporting her while helping to spread awareness about ovarian cancer. I’m truly honored to be part of a team that’s dedicated to making a difference!

My goal for the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon is to run with gratitude—to embrace the experience alongside my Tell Every Amazing Lady® teammates, to feel the love and support from friends and family, and to honor my close friend and all the women whose lives have been impacted by ovarian cancer.

What I love most about running is the sense of freedom and clarity it brings. Running is my me time—an opportunity to challenge myself, set goals, and clear my mind while exploring amazing places. Being able to run—and to do so with others, for such an incredible cause—is SO rewarding!

If I had the power to change one thing related to ovarian cancer, it would be to improve awareness and ensure access to early detection resources for every woman. All in hopes of discovering a cure one day!

To all the amazing ladies who are battling or have battled ovarian cancer—you are some of the strongest people we know. Your courage, resilience, and fight have inspired each of us in more ways than words can express. I’m honored to be running for a team with such a wonderful cause, and I hope to inspire others to join the fight against ovarian cancer. 🙂
