Our second guest for our Tell Every Amazing Lady® Tell-A-Thon – the full-day live stream event we had on May 8th,  2026 for World Ovarian Cancer Day – was Brooklyn Deputy Borough President Kim Council. Tell Every Amazing Lady® has a special connection with Brooklyn, being founded by two sisters who were born and raised there. It’s also where our Ovarian Cancer Community Center, the only one of its kind, is located. We spoke with Brooklyn Deputy Borough President Kim Council about how our founders went to Brooklyn Borough Hall when they first started the foundation, to get the resources and information that set up Tell Every Amazing Lady® for a successful 18 years (and counting!) of spreading awareness and supporting ovarian cancer patients and survivors.
