May 8th, 2023 was World Ovarian Cancer Day. To celebrate, T.E.A.L.® invited community members, elected officials and other prestigious guests to the T.E.A.L.® Community Center in Park Slope Brooklyn, NY. Those who attended the event had the opportunity to connect with one another and share their stories of how ovarian cancer has impacted their lives. It was a day full of awareness; everyone who attended left with the understanding that knowledge of the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer is critical to early detection of the disease. It was an amazing event and we are so grateful to those who attended and helped to make it as special as it was!
