May 8th is World Ovarian Cancer Day. On this day Tell Every Amazing Lady® unites in solidarity with the New York City Council Women’s Caucus Members to honor every Amazing lady affected by this formidable disease. As an integral part of this global initiative, Tell Every Amazing Lady® proudly joins the chorus of voices advocating for awareness and action. T.E.A.L.® is honored to support World Ovarian Cancer Coalition on this initiative.
Tell Every Amazing Lady® stood on the steps of New York City Hall with the New York City Council Women’s Caucus Members in honor of May 8th, as a powerful representation of New York City’s commitment to continue to battle this deadly, overlooked, and underfunded women’s health disease. Council Members of the New York City Council Women’s Caucus include Julie Menin, Carmen De La Rosa, Carlina Rivera, Gale A. Brewer, Diana Ayala, Kristy Marmorato, Pierina Ana Sanchez, Althea Stevens, Amanda Farías, Vickie Paladino, Sandra Ung, Tiffany Cabán, Linda Lee, Julie Won, Nantasha Williams, Lynn Schulman, Selvena N. The New York City Council Women’s Caucus, side by side and dressed in the color teal, illuminated the signs and symptoms of this often overlooked disease, while empowering women with knowledge and rallying support for early detection and intervention.
