Greenwich Town Hall Inaugurates September as Ovarian Cancer Month

On September 17th in Greenwich, Connecticut, the Greenwich Town Hall lit up teal to raise awareness about ovarian cancer and inaugurate September as Ovarian Cancer Month. First Selectman, Peter Tesei, issued the proclamation deeming September as ovarian cancer month in Greenwich, and ovarian cancer flags were raised to spread awareness to the community. T.E.A.L.® was represented by Kaile Anne Josephs Zagger in loving memory of Ms. Zagger’s mother, Marilyn Ann Trahan Josephs, who passed away from ovarian cancer at age 46.

During the inauguration Dr. Elena Ratner educated the Greenwich community about the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer. Dr. Gil More and Dr. Gloria Huang from Yale New Haven Hospital also spoke at the inauguration.

We would like to thank Greenwich Town Hall, Ms. Zagger, Peter Tesei and Dr. Elena, Dr. Gil More and Dr. Gloria Huang for raising awareness about ovarian cancer.
