Two students in the Long Island University Post Genetic Counseling Graduate Program gave a presentation on genetic risk to attendees at T.E.A.L.®’s Genetics Workshop on November 14th.
The students, guided by a certified genetic counselor who presented alongside them, were part of a rotation at T.E.A.L.®. Several groups of students in the rotation worked on the presentation, which culminated in an informative and engaging talk.
The workshop was one of the foundation’s free workshops, open to ovarian cancer survivors, their family, and the general public at the T.E.A.L.® Community Center with remote call-in options.
