Elvian Cali, Baruch Student and T.E.A.L. intern, collaborated with T.E.A.L. CEO Pamela Esposito-Amery to bring an awareness presentation to Baruch Students. Her presentation featured a recorded interview and class-wide participation in the organization’s “T.E.A.L. is…” online campaign. The project was chosen to inform students about the signs, symptoms and risk factors of Ovarian Cancer. Also, this month, informational pamphlets were given out to over 200 students at Kappa Phi Lamba Sorority’s event, The Real Teal Challenge which was dedicated to a member of the sorority diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer that recently passed away.
