As a pediatric dental resident, I work closely with families and truly see every day how health challenges affect not just the patient, but the entire support system. It is important for me to be able to be there for these vulnerable and challenging moments, whether that is physical, emotional, or financial support. I chose to run the 2026 TCS NYC Marathon with Team Tell Every Amazing Lady® because their mission to support and empower women facing ovarian cancer deeply resonates with me. A few years ago, my college friend’s mom passed away from ovarian cancer and witnessing that loss showed me how devastating this disease can be. Running with Team Tell Every Amazing Lady® allows me to honor her memory and support women and their families currently facing the “c” word with courage and grace.
