The New York City Marathon is an inspiration in itself and running for Team Tell Every Amazing Lady® makes it that much more special. I have always cared about women’ s health and finding out about what this organization does and cares for is incredible. Running with this group feels meaningful and for a cause worthwhile. I think this area of women’s care whether ovarian cancer, perimenopause or menopause is very much overlooked. Everyone needs better education and resources on breast cancer, ovarian cancer and even colon cancer having links. Resources to create funding for ovarian cancer screenings is a must in pushing women’s healthcare and initiatives forward! Education on menopause alone is not given by healthcare providers so getting information into the hands of patients can be extremely helpful. It will be an honor running for women of all ages this year!
