I am running for Tell Every Amazing Lady® to honor and celebrate the resilience and strength of women everywhere. As a Division 1 women’s rower, I am surrounded by hardworking and driven women who are dedicated to pursuing their passions and pushing themselves out of their comfort zone. My teammates inspire me each day, and they are my biggest support system and the reason I strive to improve myself. Being part of a team has really taught me the importance of women showing up for other women. Thus, I was drawn to Tell Every Amazing Lady®’s mission to empower women, and I hope to make a difference in the fight against ovarian cancer by educating women on recognizing symptoms and the resources available to them.

I am infinitely grateful to have so many powerful female role models in my life, from my mother, my coaches, my aunts, and my teammates, who have shaped me into the young woman I am today. While I am fortunate to have my team of strong, inspiring women, I know that not every woman feels that kind of support. Thus, I want to be a part of a movement that reminds women that they are never alone. Both ovarian cancer and breast cancer run in my family; therefore, I am constantly reminded that each day is a gift and it is a privilege to move my body. For me, running the marathon for Tell Every Amazing Lady® and spreading awareness about ovarian cancer represents the strength, resilience, and community of brave women that I strive to emulate.
