First-graders at P.S. 154 ring in spring in the T.E.A.L.® Community Center windows

Class 1-208 of P.S. 154 in Brooklyn produced gorgeous and colorful art for the T.E.A.L.® Community Center windows this spring! Class teacher Stefanie Concannon and art teacher Kelly Normand led the project.

Kelly Normand describes the students’ projects: “Students looked at the art of Piet Mondrian. They created these paintings using straight lines like Mondrian. The palette incorporated turquoise to support and acknowledge the work of the Tell Every Amazing Lady® foundation.”

One of our amazing volunteers, Michelle, created the display in the windows so that passersby could relish some color as they walk by our center!

If you’re in the neighborhood, view the display this spring at 533 16th Street in Brooklyn between 10th and 11th Avenues. We’re right around the corner from Prospect Park!
