LIU students are T.E.A.L.®’s Volunteers of the Month

Meet the Long Island University Genetic Counseling class of 2021, the T.E.A.L.®-nominated Volunteers of the Month for June!

The Masters students started as volunteers at the 11th Annual Brooklyn T.E.A.L.® Walk/Run in September 2019, then interned at  the T.E.A.L.® Community Center in Brooklyn. Several months later, when the COVID-19 crisis brought uncertainty and restricted work ability, the LIU students reconnected with T.E.A.L.®, supporting the ovarian cancer community as digital volunteers.
