T.E.A.L. took part in this year’s Brooklyn Pride Festival on Saturday, June 14, 2014. It took place on 5th Avenue and lasted from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Members of T.E.A.L. set up a booth at the festival where we educated the community on the importance of Ovarian Cancer Awareness. People took part in our T.E.A.L. Is Campaign and volunteers helped with providing information to the public. We had people of all ages come to our booth who were interested in what T.E.A.L.’s overall mission was. The Brooklyn Pride Festival was a great experience for T.E.A.L. to be a part of, and we were happy to spread awareness while connecting with the community as well.
