From January 29–31, 2026, Tell Every Amazing Lady® Patient Navigator, Vrushali Thakkar attended the Society of Gynecologic Oncology (SGO) Winter Conference in Olympic Valley, California, funded by the Direct Relief Fund for Health Equity. The conference convened leading researchers, clinicians, patient advocates, and healthcare professionals from across the gynecologic oncology field.

Ms. Thakkar participated in educational sessions and seminars covering key topics such as advances in ovarian cancer research and treatment, early detection, survivorship care, health equity, and patient-centered navigation. She also engaged in meaningful networking with gynecologic oncologists, researchers, and fellow patient advocates, exchanging best practices and insights to improve patient access, education, and support.

Throughout the conference, Ms. Thakkar shared her commitment to ovarian cancer awareness, emphasizing early symptom recognition, patient empowerment, and the importance of advocacy and collaboration. The experience strengthened professional connections and reinforced a shared mission to advance research, improve care, and elevate patient voices in gynecologic oncology.
