Amy Patel is an undergraduate student at New York University’s College of Arts & Sciences, where she is pursuing a double major in Biology and Global Public Health while also pursuing premedical studies. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Amy is deeply committed to understanding the intersection of biology, healthcare, and social determinants of health, with a particular focus on improving access and outcomes for underserved populations. Outside of the classroom, she actively volunteers at hospitals, gaining hands-on experience in patient care and community health initiatives. Amy is also excited to contribute to Tell Every Amazing Lady®, supporting survivors, family members, and others affected by ovarian cancer to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. With a strong foundation in both the life sciences and public health, she aspires to combine research, clinical experience, and advocacy to advance equitable healthcare solutions and empower communities through compassionate care.
