T.E.A.L. wrapped up 2013’s Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month with our first ever satellite walk. The 1st Annual Woodbury Parks Department T.E.A.L. Walk taking place in Woodbury, NY, was a great success. T.E.A.L. volunteer, activist and Ovarian Cancer survivor Nancy Irizarry, organized the walk which benefitted T.E.A.L. Awareness and Research programs, and helped spread T.E.A.L.’s message and reach beyond Brooklyn. We look forward to continuing to work with the Woodbury Park’s Department, as well as continuing to spread our reach even further with future satellite walks.
