Monet Smith

Monet H. Smith is a student and changemaker for criminal justice reform. She is a passionate advocate for legal system reform, public safety, empowering communities of color, and developing systems of social equity. In just 3 years, Monet graduated top 10% of her class and received her Bachelor of Arts from Pennsylvania State University in Criminology Legal Studies.
After getting her undergraduate degree she gained work experience in nonprofit community building and impact events for social enterprises and NGOs.
Monet is currently in her second and last year at NYU Wagner MPA-PNP program, at Wagner she specializes in Social Impact, Innovation & Investment, with a focus on Social Entrepreneurship. In addition to her work at NYU Wagner she is also preparing to enroll in law school in fall of 2025 immediately after graduation. She is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.
