On Saturday September 7th, 2024, the 16th Annual Brooklyn T.E.A.L.® Walk/Run™ Celebration kicked off in Prospect Park, Brooklyn. honoring the bravery of ovarian cancer survivors and the strength of their families. The event raised vital funds for research while spreading awareness about this often-overlooked disease.
The event draws participants from far and wide. The 5K run was kicked off by Brooklyn Borough President, Antonio Reynoso and Dr. Melissa Frey from New-York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medicine, followed by a touching survivor ceremony that celebrated those affected by ovarian cancer. T.E.A.L.® Walk/Run™ continues to be a powerful platform for community engagement and advocacy, inspiring participants to unite in the fight against ovarian cancer.
