Meet Sara
Sarah is one of T.E.A.L.®’s Youth Ambassador on the West Coast. When her Auntie Mimi passed away from ovarian cancer, Sarah went online to find out more about the disease that had taken her aunt’s life. She wasn’t able to find many resources on the West Coast, so reached out to T.E.A.L.® to become involved cross-country.
Sarah describes herself as a humanitarian, speaker, and vocalist. Her background is a perfect fit for being a T.E.A.L.® Youth Ambassador. She graduated from UCLA with a degree in psychology and a minor in philosophy, while also being pre-med. Sarah is now a law student at the University of Wisconsin Madison. It is here where she hopes to continue the message about early detection through knowledge of the risks, signs, and symptoms of the disease.
Sarah has had her own Ted Talk, and competed in regional and state pageants, using ovarian cancer as her platform, and advising all to Tell Every Amazing Lady®.
