The Peveraro family, in partnership with T.E.A.L.®, established the Jane Peveraro Fund in order to develop universal testing for Ovarian Cancer. Jane was diagnosed with stage 3C ovarian cancer in 2011 at the age of 55. With no genetic history, and in good health, Jane and her family were shocked by this diagnosis. After going through 28 months of chemo, recurrences, and more chemo, Jane lost her fight against the disease in 2013.
