On Thursday, October 12th, 2017, T.E.A.L® visited Brooklyn College for an Ovarian Cancer Awareness Workshop. The event was organized by the Health Programs Office at the school and invited T.E.A.L® representatives to the campus to provide information about ovarian cancer to students and faculty. T.E.A.L® provided pamphlets with information on ovarian cancer and gave an educational power point presentation about the signs, symptoms, and risk factors of ovarian cancer. The presentation also explained T.E.A.L®’s mission to spread awareness about ovarian cancer and fund medical research towards finding a cure, and all the different programs and events we have available. Thank you Brooklyn College for having us and allowing us to share valuable information about ovarian cancer.
