Annual T.E.A.L.® Colorado Roadrunner’s Strike Out Cancer Game

On April 11th, 2015, the baseball and softball programs at MSU Denver hosted another successful Roadrunner’s Strike Out Cancer Game thereby continuing to raise awareness and help others who are fighting this deadly disease with this Annual ®T.E.A.L. day which included various fundraising opportunities and family activities. This year, the Roadrunner’s raised over $600 through their ®T.E.A.L. fundraising site. This event started back in 2013 in honor of Roadrunner softball senior and Ovarian Cancer survivor Aubree Maul.  Aubree finished her career in 2014 with the Roadrunners as the RMAC Co-Pitcher of the Year and Colorado Sportswoman Comeback Award winner. MSU Denver plans to expand this program next semester by working more closely with ®T.E.A.L. to promote awareness and education of this disease. Consider joining this movement and making donation to help others strikeout cancer at www.tealwalk.org/fundraiser/roadrunners.
