The 7th National Conference on Work & Cancer was held Friday, June 23, 2017, at The Graduate Center at CUNY, in New York City. This free annual event explored the issues faced by working people who are trying to balance their cancer treatment & recovery with employment. The topics focused on included: working through treatment, privacy and disclosure, legal and financial issues, networking, health insurance, body confidence, and more. The event was open to patients, survivors, healthcare professionals, caregivers, employers and anyone else touched by cancer. T.E.A.L.® was honored to be included and provide information to professionals about the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer.
