T.E.A.L. is taking over New York City with a series of ®Tell Every Amazing Lady posters and banners that will stay up through September for Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. These advertisements are in conjunction with our 2015 September Awareness Campaign!  Look out for us on subway platforms, kiosks and our NEW ®T.E.A.L. Banners around Prospect Park along Prospect Park West at President Street (near Grand Army Plaza), 4th St, and 16th st.  Help us create Awareness and join us at the 7th Annual ®T.E.A.L. Walk/Run in Prospect Park (9/12/15).

T.E.A.L. at the Seaside Summer Concerts Festival

On Tuesday July 21, 2015, ®T.E.A.L. was on stage at the 2015 Seaside Summer Concerts Festival at MCU Park in Coney Island Brooklyn for the Starship performance featuring Mickey Thomas. Brooklyn Borough President Eric L. Adams and ®T.E.A.L. CEO Pamela Esposito-Amery explained the importance of ®T.E.A.L. in the Brooklyn community spreading awareness and education about the signs, symptoms, and risk factors of Ovarian Cancer and providing support to survivors. The two announced how Brooklyn Borough Hall will be lit teal again this year in September to recognize Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. Attendees were also invited to participate in our upcoming ®T.E.A.L. Walk/Run in Prospect Park!

T.E.A.L.’s New Office Space

After 7 years of working out of a home office with a small staff, we are proud to announce that we have officially obtained an office space where we will provide new services and Awareness/Education, Survivor, & Family Programs for the community (including FREE ®T.E.A.L. workshops). Our new address is 533 16th St ( just off of 10th avenue in Park Slope/Windsor Terrace) Brooklyn, NY 11215.

We can’t thank our volunteers enough for helping us by donating items or working in the space to get it ready for us to open. Over the years, our loyal volunteers are one of the many reasons why we are able to do what we do!

T.E.A.L. and the Brooklyn Cyclones

T.E.A.L. was one of the beneficiaries who received part of the proceeds from ticket sales for this event. Event attendees watched the Brooklyn Cyclones and enjoyed event activities including pre-game Zumba, special cancer survivors first pitch ceremony, & a post game luminaria ceremony!
